My Beginners Tips For Weight-Loss

Beginning of a new year which means we are all setting brand new goals for us to achieve this year. My social media has been lit up with so many saying that want to change the lifestyle they are living… you know getting out of a rut. I started my journey with such panic, because I was told to lose weight or else my health or life will be put at a halt. So, I never really got to ease or throw myself into it. It was done by someone else.

Todays blog post , I will be sharing some tips on how to start your weight loss journey or just start changing your life. some of my tips are simple and some need some major thought. I really hope these tips help you on your path to greatness.

My tips for weight-loss

YOU need to decide to start

This is probably the most important tip I can give you. The decision of starting your new life needs to come from YOU and nobody else. I cannot stress this enough. I was “forced” by doctors and haters to start to lose weight and to be honest I was half arsing it. Now that I have found my passion in losing weight it stopped becoming about what the doctors or what will other say when they see me, but about how great I feel every day and every cm or kg I have lost. You can’t commit to something because of someone else. Nobody else will be at the gym, cooking food for you or drinking that #hulkjuice its only you. So, this journey has to be about YOU and nobody else.

Get going with a light walk

You heard saying “weight loss is 80% nutrition and 20% working out” right? Well, something that I have found out that working out has become my number one way of getting rid of stress. Before jumping and committing yourself to a gym contract or starting out with some hectic works out. Grab your sneakers and water bottle and head to a location where you can. I love to grab my dogs and my mom and go to seapoint prom for a light brisk walk. Walking is low-stress, has a low impact form of exercise and something we love it’s an amazing calorie burner.

Define your “why”

Also a very very important tip I can give. You need answer this simple question WHY AM I WANTING TO LOSE WEIGHT? If you don’t know your why then why are you doing it. I wrote my why down in a secret place but place it on your vision baord, car, phone, wallet so you can be easily reminded about you why. For example I want to feel good on my 26th birthday. My why is kind of complex.

I want to show the world that I can do anything I put my mind to, I want to kick PCOS in the butt and not stress about not having kids, I want to look good, feel good and love every part of my body.

That’s my why?

Don’t drink your calories – Drink More water

No juice, No cooldrink, No Alcohol and no sport drinks! Drink as much water as possible. I strive to drink about 3 litres of water a day, majority of the time I don’t but it’s a plan and wish of mine. This is probably something I am here preaching but im not doing. LOL but it is something I really want to get into the habit of. Not ordering juice or that dry lemon at restaurants but having water.

Find your meal plan & track your food

When I started the journey, I was told that I needed to stop the processed food and stick to clean eating. You know I am a firm believer in the RushTush life style and everything she stands by. So why not do yourself a favour, head over to her website and purchase your Glow Cleanse and start glowing.

I would love to cook and share what I will eat on the daily but truth is my world is surrounded by the Glow Life so my lunch will be about the glow so dinner meals I will be cooking and sharing some of my favourite recipes.

I really hope these tips help you achieve your goal. My weight loss journey is not easy, I lose weight pick up weight its just an up and down battle. I can relate to the bad side of any weight loss journey. I wouldn’t be able to do this without. I love you guys.

Until we meet again
